HAVANAMAS | A RAY-BAN SOCIAL CAMPAIGN
In 2015, Ray-Ban wanted to promote their Havana collection around Christmas. We decided to simply mash them together: Havana–mas. So instead of Santa Claus, there's Santos Claus. Instead of elves, meet Elfonso. At Havanamas, we gulp eggnog mojitos, nosh on pumpkin pie-ella and exclaim, "Ho Ho Hola!" To introduce the campaign, we composed our very own carols, like "Havanamas Night" and "Oh Come Oh Come Emmanual Rodriguez Santana Santos." We released videos to help people learn the holiday's lingo, and slathered the Internet with Buzzfeed-like Top 10 lists. Before we knew it, everyone was salsa–ing around the Havanamas tree.
